Ahora que todos hablan del nuevo formato de El País, yo me veo en la obligación de anunciar la desaparición de Veo Veo. El diario de pago de mayor tirada en España intenta globalizarse; este blog, en una clara muestra también de los tiempos que corren, se ve obligado a echar el cierre por culpa de la censura china sobre Blogger.
La nueva gran muralla china, sin embargo, parece haberme hecho un gran favor. Hacía tiempo que este blog necesitaba un lavado de cara, un nuevo enfoque y nuevos contenidos. Por necesitar, necesitaba hasta un nuevo nombre. Ahora que estoy viviendo en China y que los Juegos Olímpicos están a la vuelta de la esquina, la oportunidad parece perfecta para hacer una mudanza.
¿A dónde nos vamos? A un tren. Os invito a montaros en él conmigo. Es un tren con destino a Beijing, aunque tiene varias paradas en otros lugares de China. Durante el trayecto podréis hablar con sus gentes, escuchar sus gritos y ver sus sonrisas. Veo Veo (en espíritu) y muchos de sus posts se vienen conmigo. Hay plazas para todos y los billetes son gratis, así que espero que por lo menos os paséis a curiosear entre los vagones, las comidas improvisadas, los niños corriendo por los pasillos y las literas de a seis.
Si eres un apasionado de China, o simplemente tienes curiosidad por ver lo que pasa más allá de tus fronteras… te veo en el tren.
